Why are you looking at 'Butla? It's like the dead sea according to all of the reports posted on here in the last couple of weeks. Plus, all the crappie were caught last year....hahahhahaha

Rducks is right. Fished Friday. Caught 8 cats largest being about 10 in, 3 Gaspergoos, one Largmouth about 4 in, 1 stripe 6 in, and one yellow bass about 6 in. Game Warden told there are no crappie left in the lake. Told me to come back in 2 years.

I know it's been THE DEAD SEA, but when the lake gets down to normal pool, all those fish will be moving back into the main lake and we will see just what we have!I'm just wondering if the Corp pulled 3' of water in 12 hrs.Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service: Memphis: Coldwater River at Arkabutla Dam
Just checked this morning and getting the same reading as yesterday!Gonna have to ride down there. Another question I have . If you launch off the state park ramp, at Enid, Do they have pay envelopes at the ramp or what time does the office open? I want to launch by 5am. I'm igernant in this matter!

Get the annual hang tag. Cheap, good for all corps lakes and go as early as you want.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
