Arkabutla Fishing Report?

Does anyone out there have any recent positive reports on the crappie at Arkabutla? I have been going to Sardis for the past month due to the bite being nonexistent at Arkabutla. Sardis has been on, but I miss those Arkabutla slabs and of course the shorter drive. I am going to head to Arkabutla in the next week being that it's my home lake, and it's time to give her another gander but I was curious if anyone out there has some good news.....

Talked to a warden Sunday.
Said its empty and it will be at least 2 years before its back to normal. But we knew that :D

We drove through Hernando Point looking at campsites sunday afternoon. Talked to a couple of guys from IN at their campsite, this was their 3rd day on the water and not the first crappie. They were trying to transfer to Sardis for the remainder of their reservation. If not they would start driving down for the day. They like my cap and said they would try it out first chance they got. I swapped to my black gun cap and they liked it too. Said we'll be sure to check out both sites.

Here is the question that I'm curious about. Where are all the under 12 inch fish that were in the lake last year? Why are none of them being caught.
