    Default Fishing Trip

Sambo, Rudd and I fish Northeast La around the West Monroe area. We are thinking we might like to try one of your lakes. Could anyone send us some information or advice? School starts real soon for us so let us know. Thanks in advance.

You can pm any of us. Jim

hire Carl Painter (Feelay) for a day to get the feel for it--if he's available. Then go to town. Probably Sardis or Enid would be your best bet.

A few questions: Are there places to stay on the lakes? Do people also jig fish or drift fish this time of the year? Jim

Also thanks for the replies and the private messages

If you are talking about the big 4, the only places near water is in the state parks on each lake. I suggest you stay at Enid or Sardis, they are centrally located. If you are into drift fishing or spider rigging I would wait until fall. They wearing them out right now pulling cranks.

That's good to hear, I'm too far away to check it out without spending the night
