    Default Trolling battery

For some reason my search feature will not work. My two batteries went dead yesterday after 4 hrs of trolling. I came home and checked the water levels. The water was below the plates. I used distiller water to fill back up the cells. Charged batteries overnight and they still not charged. I am afraid my batteries may be shot.

With that said it looks like I will be in the market for some new batteries. Any suggestions on what to buy and where to purchase?

I'm sure u'll get several opinions on this subject, but, my preference is Exide Group 31. I just replaced my 3 year old ones. Because I let the water get below the plates on one of them. One was still good but never team a 3 year old with a new one, just asking for trouble. We have an Exide store here, but Acadamy sells them as well as some other stores. They were $260 and some change. Our Exide store also sell seconds for much less but just have to be there when they come in, don't last a day... If I had kept the water checked like I shud have, I'd still be getting 6+ hours of constant 1.5, 1.6 mph trolling. I was getting 7-8 when they were new..

Like EZ said, you gonna get lots of opinions. With that said I am on 5 hours solid this morning and still on 75%. Fathers day weekend Ducker and I pulled for around 7 hours, went to the weigh in. When it was over Ree , Tammy and I went back out and did another 3 hours. 10 hours total that Saturday and the gauge said 50% when we got back to the ramp.
I even have one for my cranking and accessory batt now, running 2 depth finders and the radio I am still on 12.5 v this morning
