    Default Lowrance/navionics hot maps

Just bought a lowrance elite 4 and navionics hot maps(south). Only been able to use /play with it once. Was playing with it at home tonite and noticed it shows the info for Arkabutla and Enid but not Sardis. By info I mean creek channels, river channel, contour lines, etc. but Sardis was just a outline of lake. No lines/data. Y'all ever had an issues like this?

Get the Navionics app on your smartphone. 10-11 bucks and has full detail of the 150 buck chip.

I got mine right finally. Had to talk to lowrance though. I don't think it shows road beds. Did not see any on it at Sardis today.

While we are on this topic...who all has the navionics app on their phone? I just downloaded it and have been trying to figure it out. I have noticed that some people have uploaded fishing "hot spots" and shared. Can you make your own hotspots and create names for them? I am also looking for some of the old creek channels that feed in the main channel on Barnett...how do u find them?

I added the iPad app Friday ($50). We used it without depth finder on Sardis yesterday and it worked great. We started around 7 out of Coles Point and had limt of 12" plus fish by 10 plus anothe dozen mixed short fish and 11 plus fish. We put back.

Very interested in uploading hot spots. I have a couple marker on the route planner but I sure ther is a better method.
