    Default White bass on arkabutla


    New to ms from arkansas looking to fish arkabutla when crappie pick up. In the mean time anyone know about white bass on main lake?

    we only fish for crappie in mississippi dont know much about them trash fish you speak of. think their a few in their

    Thanks slabin I was trying to put my son on some steady action. I see in ms there are the same Ones that only catch crappie but probably will catch and eat white bass or drum when not being watched quicker than anyone

    Welcome to the forum Anthony. I don't get up to 'Butla but a couple times a year and don't know about the white bass.

    Welcome to the forum.

    You might find some whites busting shad early or late, try looking around some of the major points. Anything you can throw a long way, like a little george or a spoon will work, the main thing is finding the schools. Another option would be idling open water and looking for schools and bait on your sonar and dropping a jigging spoon vertically.
