Default Cranks or longline effort at Lake Washington this weekend

Gonna be taking my Dad and young son to do hand to hand (noodles) catfish battle on Lake Washington this weekend. I realize the crankbait bite is hot at Sardis, the Rez, and other places, but I'll be at Lake Washington. Should I just committ to catfishing only, or is it worth packing the crankbaits or sickle spins for longlining? The trip is all about my son, but I wouldn't mind giving the crappie an effort. Thanks for any suggestions.

You did catch that big one there, so you don't have a bad day every time!
