    Default Bit the BIG BULLET

So I go and buy a brand new rig........Boat ,motor , trailer , i-pilot ,trolling racks , new reels ,HB 597 & 598 , crank baits, you name I think I have bought it in the past month. I go to the lake and LOVE IT except I have the dreaded problem of interference with the front mounted HB 597 DI and the I-pilot. Other than going back to where I bought, is there anyone who could help me with this . I know as many of you that have these set ups , someone has to know how to fix this.

Is your front mounted HB connected to the TM battery or the cranking battery? Its always best to wire directly to the cranking battery.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

HB will give you a free power cord with a choke in it if you call them. The power cord on the 597 doesn't come with the choke on the cord. You can get a Ferrite Choke at Radio Shack that will snap on your transducer cord for 3 bucks, and that works great if ya don't want to wait on the new power cord. Make sure you get the right diameter Ferrite Choke so it will snap on the transducer cord tight. Prolly a medium.
