    Default Knots for braid?

Going to setup a few rods for pulling cranks. I have Power Pro 30# hi vis yellow line and this is my first experience with braided line. What do you use for knots to terminal tackle with braid? Will be spooling new reels also, what do you use for knots on that end? Probably going to just put braid on the entire spool, and not back with mono to take up space. Thanks

Tie your bait on with a palomar. The braid will tie it's own knots around your rod tips.

Just ran across a 5065yd of BPS Excel mono I forgot I had. So I guess I will be backing with mono. From what I am reading about braid, the backing with mono is more about line slippage on the spool than the cost savings.

Thanks Carl! I have heard about the nests on the rod tips. Do you use braid for cranks? If its going to be a pain in the @%# all the time, then I might should reconsider before I spool these reels up.
