    Ok--some of you may have heard the scandalous rumor that I MAY have resorted to something other than spider rigging with gnats today.
    Well I am ashamed to admit I did in fact pull a crank bait today. We got 4 fish two of them within 15 minutes of starting this morning spider rigging.
    Finally had to give them what they wanted. Took the gnats off put on a black crank, a pink crank and let out half a mile of line, turned up the TM to 1.8mph and let er fly. Didn't take long (as some today already knew) to load up. Ended with 20 total--all in all was a great day. Thanks to Ducker for going with me and was great to see Ripalip, Duckhunter his son--and somebody else--and saw south65 (he wasn't on fire) One think they are on a normal Summer pattern this year. Oh--I got my limit--Ducker only got 5 lol

    Did you happen to try to fast troll those minnows with a heavier weight to keep them down. I've seen that work more than once.
