The Crappie Masters net is the best spider rigging net I've found. It has a deep basket, and small holes in the net so your weight doesn't fall through and get tangled. It extends from 75" to 111" to 141" plus the 19" net loop. It has a octagon shaped pole, and it's lite enough to use by yourself if you don't extend it the full 160", and strong. BTW, you can drill extra holes in the outer handle to make the length whatever you want.
I use the EGO 2 rubber slider for crank baiting because its easier to get the crank out of the rubber. They are heavy tho if you're fishing by yourself, and I've had to get my handle replaced twice!!!!!
More of a personal preference. To short in first position and too long in the 3rd. Was a 2 man net for sure IMO. The ego slider is also a 2 man net (and i do like it) but this paint pole with the mesh ego slider net (like the CM net) works great and is not near as heavy as the rubber ego. Maybe if the CM had ways to adjust to more than the 3 set positions I would have liked if better. Not so much a knock on the net as I just didn't like it. The CM net definately has the longest reach of any net I have seen.
Just use both hands .lol

Thanks for the reply. My curiosity is satisfied. :)
Stan nailed it. You can drill the outer handle to make the CM net as long as you want it. Any LONG handle net needs two hands, but at an overall 160" including the net frame, the CM is lighter than anything else that long. I like it in shallow water for sure!!!
this net also doubles as one heck of a push pole as well. While on a trip this week it made life easier, standing behind someone I still had enuff reach to net the fish being caught out in front of the boat. Add some floatation to it tho!!!!!
