    3 per person, no max number. You can use 30 poles with ten folks but have to stop at 40 fish.

    So.....If you got a pontoon boat with 10 people on it you can use 30 poles
    I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

    I always have extra poles but I have the line wrapped and they are either in my transport racks or tied down next to them. And I usually have some broke down in the rod locker.

    You can also get skunked on the lower lake if conditions aren't just right.

    During tournaments Speck and I have 26 rods with us and use the best set for the conditions that day.
