Went to bee yesterday feb.16 water was 3 foot above normal and muddy. Fished 3 hrs nothing not a single bite trolling with 8 poles. Did see a 40 lb Asian carp that came outta a net.

Yep, Major. I kept wondering about shad in Wolf and inquired. Was told water standing in the woods and fields brought the water temps up very high when the fall started. Also oxygen levels were very low. Lots of water drained outta fields and wooded areas back into the lakes when it fell.
