Bamboo on HWY61

I just got a call at 9:15 this morning from a friend of mine saying there is a lot of big bamboo at the intersection of HWY 61 and Star Landing RD. They are doing construction there and are pushing it up into a large pile. I tried calling Slabin but got his voicemail. Someone that lives down that way may want to ride by there and check on it for Arkabutla Habitat Day next month.

If that is on the north west corner, it isn't bamboo. It's cane grass. It was there behind the Pure oil station years ago. I'll have my wife check on it when she goes to work.

I found a huge grove but I ain't saying where till I talk to the folks that own that property. This stuff is at least 30 feet tall.I also picked up some pvc off the side of the road Sunday!
