I have a few questions. How do you work an umbrella or bimini top into that set-up? Does the mast have it's on base or do you use a seat base? How many clips do you normally take with you? It looks like all the dinks at Enid and Sardis would be a real pain if you didn't take a bucket load of clips.
The BIG JOHNS have their own base that can be mounted on the very front of the boat., Or you can get them to fit a seat mount. The whole set up with 2 boards is a little less than 400.00. You can make your own releases with shower curtain rings and small alligator clips,just put a piece of small rubber hose over the teeth of the alligator clips.
