    Default Mystery Lake near Belzoni

Has anyone ever fished the lake that is on the east side of 49 between belzoni and silver city? Goggle maps calls it Hard Cash Lake... Every time I head to town from the duck club I wander if its worth fishin.

Acording to the state DEQ site
MDEQ - Mississippi Fish Tissue Advisories and Commercial Fishing Bans
all delta water mainland side of the MS river levee except Steele Bayou, Black Bayou, Bee Lake, Recon Lake, and Charlie Capps Lake have consumption limits. It doesn't look like crappie is on the list of fish under the advisory in any waters though.

I've fished Bee Lake many times, and I think it's about as good as Grenada lake, lots of 3 pound crappie. It also has lots of snakes, and some say gators, but I've never seen any.
    One of my favorite lakes....

I'm thinking you're talking about a bend in the Yazoo river that was cut off by the levee years ago. It produces some nice fishes at times. Ramp is kinda rough, but manageable.

I know that, but there is a lake over there that is a no keep lake. Higher than all the rest.

Speaking of Bee lake. Can you wade it and not take a boat to where you wanna start wading?

I stopped one day to read the lake info at the ramp. Other than the regular large catfish warning, I don't remeber seeing anything else warning about fish consumption.

You can drive along the bank in several areas, DD. Just stop and start wading
