First thing you need to know bout Sardis is become a Meteorologist and pay attention to what they are saying about the wind.. It can be DANGEROUS at times... Fishing without a depth finder can be tough, but if you keep your baits between 7 - 12' deep, you wil usually be right in the strike zone. Look at the banks and imagine that the points extend deeper under the water than what you can see. Is the bank flat, or is it steep. These things will give you an idea of what the lake looks like under the water. You can watch for areas that have appeared to have caved in, or for newer tree stumps too. These are tip offs that there could be good wood in that area. Big bites, full baskets, and God's blessings to ya!

Put in at engineers point, run up the lake passed clear creek, then look to see what other boats are doing. You may have to get close to holiday lodge.
