    Does anyone have any type of update on Chotard? I know they were biting about two weeks ago but I haven't heard anything lately. I was maybe thinking about going over there this weekend.

    I think Don Don went over the weekend and caught a bunch of gar and only a few crappie.
    I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

    main thing I caught was GAR. Had over 100 on the line in a little over 3 hours so I got PO'd and left. If ya go, you might want to go up into Albermarle. I didn't make it up in there but they gots to be somewhere

    Default It was tough Hugh

    We spider rigged for a couple hours and constantly had 2 or 3 Gar on at one time. Got sick of that and put the cranks out and same thing. Only Crappie did come on Cranks though but I got some cranks that look like someone took a belt sander to now. LOL
