I actually think that the further south you go in Mississippi, the worse the crappie fishing. Although, there will be MANY on this board that will take exception to that statement.

I was raised in Jackson and have fished RB several times but that was in the mid 60's... Haven't fished it since 66...

We have a duck camp on Beulah so when I get down that way this winter I will look you up....I would love to learn a little about the oxbows north of Beulah..
