    I was wondering if anybody had any luck yesterday with the wind ? I am going this afternoon and was looking for a tip.

    No....I did not fish yesterday. I did Friday though.....went down south to Okatibbee.

    Im in southern middle Tn, and to answer your question about going yesterday, yes, I did. I fished a big fish tourney where we had 9 folks show up for. I caught 13 crappie, 6 keepers but thats way off from what its been being.Was pretty slow and the bite was very light. The line would tick, tick, just about like a brim bite. Fishing should be good for a few weeks till the lakes turn over. Then we will have to go on the hunt for them all over again

    Been lucky so far I guess....never caught a gar in my life. I have caught several bowfin ( grinnel).

    I used to fish Tunica alot and I had my fair share of gar. One of the main reasons why i quit going there.

    gar aint to bad if you get them on an outside pole but you when on the inside your talking about a giant mess then you take your..... ummmm well yall get the picture.
