    Default Trolling motor question

I have a minn kota PV2. How are some of you putting a transducer on it and run the cable to the screen ? looks like you can't attach the cable to the shaft because when you deploy the trolling motor the cable is going to be in the way.

You have to leave a portion of the cable un strapped from the shaft so the motor can slide up and down. Maybe Scottv will see this and put up a picture of how he did his.....I fished with him yesteday and he had a good set up on his PD.

Crappieman i got the minn kota edge on my boat and thats the way i finally did it. Put a giant clamp to secure it and the took some electrical tap and wrapped it several times around the shaft. i have only had 1 instance where it got in the way and cut in half so i keep so wire strippers and electrical tape in the boat but most of the time it stays tight and out of the way and doesnt look to bad if you know what i mean.
