    Well if they don't open it back up next spring then you and I will simply have to push some of them Arkabutla folks out of the way so that we can make our mark on the mudhole...

    I agree RiverDelta! It is time for me to venture out to Arkabutla, Sardis, and Enid to name a few. I have fished Lakeview approximately 90% of all my fishing trips due to its proximity to Memphis, but this will definetly change now.

    There are no fish in Arklabutla please tell everyone to go to Sardis, Enid and Grenada thats where all the action is.
    We killed 'em here yesterday.

    Good luck! Butla is unlike any other lake, old guys who have fished it for 30 or 40 years get skunked on a regular basis.

    Yes he does, on occasion. He improves his odds by only going when conditions are just right. Mr. Jim is good, but nobody can go to butla and whack em every time. Don't believe me, just ask him.
