    Default Crankbait Colors

Being new to the South, I've never fished a crankbait for crappie. I've been following the posts and have asertained from what everyone has said that the Bandit 200 and 300 are the baits to buy. Being kinda cheap I went to there site and bought some of the specials. Well I got them and ain't too excited about the colors.
I have one great advantage though, I'm great with a airbrush and repainting baits. (learned that during my mis-guided bass tournament days).
What I would like to know, if you could paint a bait to use in MS, what would it look like. Be very specific, because I can do just about anything.
Give me some great ideas, and you might just be the one that gets to try one out. Buying them for $2.99 sure beats the $5.00 price tag. Being a old man gives me all the time I want to play. Funny part is I don't even own a boat, YET!

If I was gonna get one custom painted......it would be Hot pink with a black back. A touch of red on the throat.

Not so fast there. Who says you're good with an airbrush? Send me 130 or so Bandit 300s with your very best work and if they're any good, I'll let everybody know.

I'd like to see a Pink with a black pattern like the mistake has. I'd also like to see a black with some red accents. Don't think you could go wrong with some Red Craw designs either. A black and white mistake would look good to me as well.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.

This is a good beginning. Exactually what I want. Once I get some done I will definitely show some pictures. It might be a while since I'm still in Missouri and all my stuff is packed or in the process of being packed. It will still be 2 or 3 weeks before I'm a resident of Mississippi.

Got a bunch of nasty 200s if you need some guinny pigs. If you need the stock to practice with, I'm game. Shooting you a PM.

Chartreuse with any combination of orange and/or light blue on the belly and/or back is always a good color to have around too.

I'm moving to Picayune. I sure wish I was gona be closer to the main action, but that is where the lady is. Old, but not stupid. Fishin's fun, but there are other things in life when you get above 60!!!!!!!!!!! Hope to make some contacts close to me, and will try and make a trip or 2 north to get in on some of the big 4 fishin. Already have a (date) with wannabe, all I have to do is paint some of his baits. Lookin forward more to his BBQ than the fishing. It better be good, I'm used to Kansas City BBQ, and it's hard to beat. I won't be moving till the first of March, give or take. I don't have a boat right now so I'll probably spend my spring walking the banks of the Pearl or Jordan River.
