Yeah Out4, I stole your thread title, but what are you gonna do about it? Pffft.
OK, I can feel the pace of Maj's spending, therefore:
What gadgets do you keep on the boat to make life easier or that you've found you can't live without?
I've got 3 in order of importance to me:
1) 8" Stanless needle nose. I have 3 pair mounted to my boat. 1 on each seat up front and 1 at the console by the gear shifter. Makes life easier when dealing with cranks, gar, catfish or a loose nut or any combination therein.
2) Clippers and eye buster. Mounted on a key ring on a retractable lanyard and attached to my rod holder. Dang things get used at least once every trip and sometimes dozens. Doubles as a fingernail clipper when I'm not catching anything. I have well groomed nails.
3) Seat Caddy: Just dang handy to have a spot to set whatever you can't hold on to for a minute - Diet coke, crankbait, weight whatever. Kind of a pain as when I rotate the seat I often bump something like my thigh or the TM when it's stowed but worth the occasional aggrivation.
4) Yeah, I said 3 and now I'm on 4. So what, I paid good money for this thread and I'll do as I please with it. A 5 gallon bucket - Carries my anchor and doubles as a brake when I'm trolling cranks with the wind. Also make a heck of a good trash can and emergency potty. Been told it'd double as a cooler or minner bucket, but after the potty thing, I think I'll stick with the igloo.
So, what you got and can't live without?

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.

Well, for those folks that catch fish, a good stringer is handy. Course, WB don't need one of those.
I've got a fishing vest with all kinds of pockets (camera, binocs, sunscreen, jigs), retractible zingers with forceps, clips and it even has a water bladder on the back- its pretty neat-o. Works well for wading or fishing from the old canoe. For some reason, it makes people laugh, too.
