Put in at Coontown Crossing and searched from there to the North and East (upriver) past Hurricane Creek and Wyatt's Crossing. Water temperature at Coontown was 41.8 degrees. Detected only one tagged fish in 11 feet of water just off the river channel among some timber. Water temperature there was 42.8 degrees. This fish had moved approximately 5.8 miles NE since its last detection on Jan. 27. So far, 20 of 21 detected crappie were found South and West (downriver) of the Coontown Crossing area.
