That Gene's about as handy as a thumb to have around ain't he? Sorta like our very own MS version of Cane Pole, cept with non-electronical stuff. Now, if we could just teach him to keep his stuff clean.....

Dang good idea EZ. Years ago, they used to sell a 2 piece snap together spool spacer for the ABU 5500Cs. I used to keep them on most all of mine to save on line. This is basically the same sort of deal. Good cyphering on the double sided tape too.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.

Yep....EZ reminds me of McGyver on that tv show....he can do anything and make anything out of anything......he's just not too good on keeping reels clean but what the heck...can't have everything.

Thaks, I am going to run them through the dishwasher this morning, that shud clean em.
Yesterday when my line came in, first thing I thought of was those spacers we used to use. Went and got mine out and you know they wouldn't fit, so this is what I came up with...

Now.....When its time to change line....I am going to do that to mine. Thanks for a great idea Gene. I like the drill and the hole saw idea to remove the line also.

G, I compared him to McGyver on here about a year ago.

Pulled cranks today on the Rez, along with doublegobble00. Caught 4 really good fish, one going about 2lbs. Forgot to take the camera. Also ate the crappieholic special breakfast at Tommy's.
