FINALLY. Took me 3 or 4 posts to rattle yo cage. LOL I really would like to wait til shortly before the tourney to see what lake is hot at the moment IF POSSIBLE. I can set the date but not pick the lake yet, that way folks could make sure they had their vacation time already set at work
Last FJ is in July, would think the Championship would follow in August. As far as the lake I dont think that decision has to be made now nor should it. It may very well be that Washington is producing the best fish in August, wouldnt decide on it till the July tourney is over. I dont care where it is just hope we will fesh it somewhere that is producing, kinda thought that was why it wawsnt set to start with.
As far as fall camp, August dang sho aint fall.banghead

I don't fish the tournaments, but just a reminder... crappie will be chasing shad on the flats on Grenada in Nov., that makes for some great and easy fishing for everybody.
Weather should be great for camping....just a thought.

dd, wasnt the championship last year in september? that would be a good month, should be close to the fall feeding spree, maybe late september.
august can be a very tough month on our reservoirs.
