    Default Detroit Lake guide?

Some of us Missouri boys come up and visit your wonderful state each year and stay on Straight Lake. We're looking to branch out a little this year and possibly chase some muskie over at Detroit Lake for a day. I contacted a muskie guide up there, but he's busy all week. Apparently a big muskie tournament qualifier is at Leech Lake the following week and he's pre-fishing for it.

Do any of you know of a guide on Detroit lake or even if we could just rent our own boat on Detroit Lake? I've searched a little online, but figured CDC members might be a little more helpful.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

You come to the wrong place for muskie advice, when you come to a crappie forum. Better to try one dedicated to the tooth carps. Or just Google 'Detroit Lakes muskie' and use that to start your phone calling.

Yeah, like I said, I've researched some online, but figured some of my fellow CDC members might be able to help me out with a local knowledge I can't find using Google.
