    Default Lake Waconia this weekend any tips - new to ice fishing


    My boys have been bugging me to go ice fishing - so I rented a fish house on Lake Waconia this weekend, I ordered Grizz's rods, reels, and jigs (came yesterday). Any suggestions. Grizz was great to deal with - I asked for suggestions and ordered...... We've never been ise fishing.....

    Default Not so well

    We caught a few little perch and some small sunnies, but boredom set in fast..... We're going to try a fishing contest or two - too much money spent on a fishhouse with no fish, I would love to rent one myself for a day without the boys - seems like it would be RELAXING!
