    Default Better than I deserve

Being an average guy, I tend to appreciate those things and people in my life that are above average. I'm blessed with many things, best of all I have a few good friends. My wife has been out of town for a few days and was due to come in at the Chattanooga airport a little after 7pm. Got ready, got gas in the car and headed out. Went over Monteagle without incident, but the temp gauge started rising once down the other side. Intending on making it to the 152 exit and checking things out, but that wasn't meant to be. At the 145mm the Jimmy had lights on the dash and it shut down. Now I have a broke car, a wrecker bill, and a wife at the airport. I began calling out the cavalry, and they answered the call. Randy (C1) was fishing, and without hesitation packed up and gathered up his wife and little car and rescued me off the side of the road and off to Chatty we went. Another friend hooked me up with a wrecker that didn't require me to be in attendance and let me pay for the tow this morning. Water in the oil, the Nephew (top notch mechanic) tells me that the motor I have is known for intake gaskets letting go and causing the scenario I experienced. He will get me up and running asap.
I really don't know how I would have gotten this taken care of without the help of everyone involved, with Randy Clark being at the top of the list. I only hope that I'm able to repay the favor in the near future. A big Thank You to everyone involved, but most of all, Thank God for the good friends I have in my life. They truly are better than I deserve.

A man can never have to many friends. Glad that it all worked out and hopefully you'll have a cheap repair bill.
You will become like those with which you associate.

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

Thanks for the report. Great report. I too needed help a few days ago, and I got it. Good friends are hard to beat.

You know that you have to be a great friend to pull me off the water! Glad to do it and sorry for your troubles. Nothing worse than an auto not working except maybe a boat breaking down with a mess of fish in a tournament.
