    Default Normandy Dec 30th

Fished Normandy today with Jameslin. We had a good time but not too many fish came to the party. We ended with 7 keepers today, 5 coming from Normandy in the hurricane winds, then we went over to Tims Ford and picked up a couple more. It was as windy a day as I can remember ever fishing but I was sure wanting to show James our lakes. Big fish was 1 pound 10 ounces and the rest wasn't bad but not as big as that one. What few keepers we caught today come from jigs tipped with Bobby Garland or Southern Pro plastics in darker colors such as blue grass, blue thunder, and a pearl color when it was sunny.

You're right about the wind, it was bad today. I have a 82 lb trolling motor and I was fighting a lossing battle with the wind.
We had 1 dink today and that was it. Hope I can go Monday or Tuesday after that it's back to work. Glad you all got a few
    today.

If I had a working boat I probably still wouldn't have wanted to go out today. My scanner said we had 25 mph winds. I can imagine what Woods was like. Going out with Hal tomorrow to catch a few. Will post pics if we have any good ones.
