Small friday Reports. Any saturday reports?

I was not able to go fishing today, but I went friday afternoon for a quick trip, from 3 pm to 6:30 with ole Trashtrout and we caught us a few crappie. Several what was still in the growing stages, but I still went home with 4 keepers. No shortage of bait fish on Tims at the moment, for we seen tons of schools swimming close to the surface. Big fish of the afternoon, was 1lb-8 oz with another not too far back of that. Was fun fishing with the Troutman, and I look forward to another trip soon ole buddy. Thanks for the invite.
I can't hardly wait for the Tims tourney next weekend and I think it will be one of the best weigh-ins we have seen in a while. I believe it may take a 10 plus pound bag to win this tourney too. I took a friend from work, Curtis Allen, to Woods crappie fishing Sat morning. We put in at 7am and stayed until noon. We caught around 8 keepers and a few nice gills. Of course the stripes had there time with a few minnows but it was a great day on the water. My friend just returned to work from having part of his colon taken out but is recovering well. He said he needed some crappie filets to help speed his recovery so I helped in the cause. The ones we caught were 8-15 ft suspended. Blue with yellow headed hand-tied jigs seemed to be their favorite. The patriot soft plastic did well also.
