Tourney results from September 18th Woods Res

Well it seemed like Woods Reservoir had been fished out after seeing results posted on crappie.com and talking to others who had been recently, but yesterday's tourney turned up some very nice crappie and in some great numbers as well. We started off the tourney at 6:25 am with a prayer and returned at 2:30 to weigh in, and most with a real good stringer. There was six boats entered in this tourney.

Third place went to Steve aka Fishawk and Terri Trost with 6.91 pounds. Second place went to John Wells (JohnW) and Toby Ivey aka (GoneCrappieFishing) with 7.00 pounds and first place went to J.W. Jackson aka (spiderig) and Deanie Jones with 8.21 pounds. Today was very sunny and the sky was totally clear of clouds which can means some tough conditions but some very nice sized crappie was still caught today. Our big fish winner today was Randy Clark aka C1bigocarp, "Secretary of da Fish" and Johnny Thompson with a 1.66 pound slab. Best fish I had seen on Woods in several outtings. Way to go everybody on such a great day of fishing.
