Woods Res / The fishing was slow

Spent most of the holiday today fishing on Woods. JohnW made the trip with me. It's still tough but there wasnt a cloud in the sky today, and had a pretty good wind for the most of it. Tried 4 different areas on the lake today, and only had 5 keepers. Most the fish was caught in cover, in about 18 fow. They have moved away from my summer honey hole. Got to start all over finding them again. The stripers are plum awful right now.

Can't wait for a little cooler weather to get back on Woods. One of mine and my wife's favorite lakes to fish in the fall.
