    Default Woods Sunday

Hit the water at about 11 am on Sunday. The ramp at Franklin county was marginally operational. Stay close to the dock. Severe drop off on the other side. There were 6 boats put in when I go there and all appeared to be Bassers. I talked to one of them as he was leaving and he had caught 5 crankin. He said they were small. My partner and I tried it for a little while and the wind was relatively calm. We only caught 1 largemouth and 1 stripe. Water was very muddy. Water temp was 41. In retrospect I should have went down by the dam first as the water was a little clearer there. Fish were showing up at 15' on the sonar. the weatherman lied because it did not get above 33 degrees.

I wonder if they are still dropping the water. Trashtrout keep a check on it for us would you? I am about sick of rain and cold weather here. Surely someday there is going to be a warm saturday that I can go fishing again but the lakes gonna be too low to go to Woods. I cant win here.lol
