    Default Smaller portable boats:

Good morning, Iam thinking of purchasing a smaller two man boat that I can use as I sold my 1448 alumcraft boat and trailer, I want something that I can toss in the back of my truck and go, be using only my Minnkota 40 lb thrust to navigate the lake, Been looking at the Sundolphin line and also the Bass tender models, want something that will be stable enough for me as I will be only one most of time using it. Any thoughts or preferences would be helpful thanks in advance. Flyfisherman_53.

Check out Pistol Creek Panfishing on YouTube. He is also here on cdc under the same name Pistol_Creek. He fishes from a Bass Pro Pond Prowler and probably could answer any questions on it.

I had an 8' Sun Dolphin Sportsman. Just sold it recently to a member in Arkansas. It was perfect to load in the bed of a pickup and go. Only weighed 100 pounds. Not trying to knock anyone out of a sale but the 10' weighs 145. Be hard to handle alone unless your just young and fit. I have a 10 foot now on a converted jet ski trailer.

This was the 8 footer, fit perfect with a ratchet strap. They are very stable boats. I got lucky in 2017 and paid $500 with free shipping from home depot.Name: 20180305_193733.jpg

I been with Home Depot here in Michigan since 2005,still with em ,but in all my years we have never had any of the boats, we currently have ATV s, but at $12,999 there not moving very fast lol, bout only thing we have year after year is contractors, and snowblower along with normal push mowers and Rottweiler.

Yeah, it was an online deal only. Guess they had something worked out with Sun Dolphin. I have a half dozen home depot's within 25 miles of me and never seen them carry boats. Home Depot doesn't offer them any more online. Why I said I got lucky. Dicks sporting goods has the same boat on sale for $550. But you will pay almost that much for shipping.
