I went down to my Barry County honey hole today to see if the crappie were in yet. Couldn't get minnows so I fished Bobby Garland Baby Shad on a jig under a bobber. First cast-Bam, nice crappie. Second cast-Bam, missed a nice crappie. Third cast-Bam, 21"+ largemouth. After that it was hard to get a bite. I managed to catch 6 keeper sized crappie, a handfull of throw backs, some small bluegill and one nice sunfish. Plus the bass.
