We are doing good, the boys are itching to get on the water but with all the rain we have had and many of the lakes being closed because of the high water, we haven't got out much this spring. Looking forward to seeing you and your rebuilt boat again in November.
Hope the axles hold up.....

Looks really nice Jerry. You did a great job on it.
Thanks, Larry. I kind of stalled out on the project with spring finally here. My work load is crazy right now but maybe this week end I can get the TM mounted and the front finder installed. Still need one more battery, too.
I got the boat pretty much finished up this week end. The only thing left is to get the nav lights working properly.
Yesterday I added a keel roller near the front and adjusted the bunk boards. I had to do some work to the front stop block to get it to align right and so the boat sat on the trailer properly. Installed a new safety chain, installed the batteries and got them strapped down and hooked up.
Today I hooked up the electronics, added some tie downs for strapping down coolers, etc, fabricated cup holders and got the boat cleaned out and vacuumed. Also got my rod holders made and installed. I need to get to the SOS office this week to get it in my name and replace the KY numbers with MI numbers and get a trailer plate. Maiden voyage next week?
Sounds like you were busy, congratulations on a great boat project.

Busy between naps. My home inspection fell through, the seller decided they wanted more money after the deal had been made so my nephew told them to.......I can't say it or "G" might bench me.:Roflnonono
I'll post some pictures soon.

Thank you, Brother Warren. Hold on to it and I'll get it at the D'arbonne gathering, unless you run into someone else that needs it.
Found out the navigation lights on the new boat don't work so started looking on line. I need the white all direction and the front green/red pole lights and found some on both ebay and amazon but decided to call Sportsmans Warehouse to see what their price is. I would rather shop local if the price is close to the same and will pay a little more if I can get it the same day. After a lengthy discussion with the employee in the marine section I was told they don't have them (yet?) in this store because the rules are different from state to state and they don't know what people in Lansing are going to request. :dono I was hoping they were going to be better than Gander but I'm not sure if they will.
I think they were confused! Navigation lights are navigation lights and are all governed by federal law. Probably gave you the PAT answer they give everyone when they don't have something.
Just for a good laugh, did you try Grand Point?
I tried to explain that the green/red was the same no matter where you are but he was too busy trying to sell me an led spotlight.
I will bet west marine in Lansing has them
Thanks, Birthday Boy. It was a lot of fun working on it.
I got the front light to work and if I can't get the back to work I'll just play a loop of "Free Bird" and hope Jeff holds up his lighter until we get to shore. He looks like one of those hippie types, don't you think?
Holds up his lighter. That is funny!

Nice lighter Jeff. Now I am picturing you with a mullet rockin out at some concert back in the 80's
No mullet. He looked like Garth from the Waynes World movies.:Rofl
