Hey guys,
in michigan for for the weekend. Came up to check out Saint Joseph area for some fishing trips this year, and we are heading towards Traverse city I guess.
Anything around this area that would be worth checking out?
Thanks in advance!

This time of year there really isn't much to see up in that area that I can think of. I'm trying to rack my brain and come up with something (indoors or out) and I simply can't. At least not in March. Worst month of the year here in my opinion. I've always hated it.

When passing through Grand Rapids, you can look to eat at either Founders Brewing Company, or maybe HopCat, both good places if you like the Down town area.
Before GR there is the 84th Street Diner, that's pretty good.
as Rich said, being March, its allot if prep work for fishing in Michigan, not much else.

The waterfronts in most of the bigger port towns are pretty cool. Manistee has a nice boardwalk, Frankfort is nice or maybe Leland.

I did pick up some clearanced okuma jig rods and reels in Saint Joe- 40% off!
We are in Mackinaw tonight, currently at “Biere de Mac” brewery.
They really roll the streets up here in the winter. Was odd to see even hotels close.
pure ice up here!
There are a few restaurants in mackinaw city worth checking out, Audies is a favorite of the locals for wings and fried fish.
