I'm thinking that is the Marathon station next door to the Coffee Cup Diner. Or the Party Store on the other side. FYI, the Coffee Cup has an awesome omelet, The Porker. 5 eggs and all kinds of goodies inside plus sausage gravy poured over the top.
I bought my share of Halis when Gander went bankrupt. Got plenty of extra hooks, too.

Way, WAY back, I made my own..at least it was my version. Used small Swedish pimples, or small Kastmasters, for the top, and all sorts of Rat Finkees hanging below. Two inches of mono..your choice on # test..for the swing.
Give it a try.

While at Cabelas yesterday I had to see what they had, they sure got a hefty price on them, really wishing ida bought more at Ganders bankruptcy sale.

I was in Cadillac a few years ago and wanted a certain color Hali and the only place I knew of that had it was Pilgrims Village. I think I paid over $6.00 for that thing, 'bout made me cry. $6.00 is a weeks groceries for a bargain shopper like me.

I found some 2" Hali's I had used jigging Saginaw river even had some spare chain's, so I put chains on a couple of small gold kastmaster's I have...

Pilgrims did tend to be high priced. I always stopped at the one one the corner of M55 and M115 but they closed the last I knew. I guess you can charge what you want when you are the only game in town

That one was Schafers. That's where I went, too.
