Friday morning union meeting

UCC (united crappie catchers) local 1/16 had it's weekly meeting today at Morrison Lake. Plenty of room in the parking lot with myself and Steve in attendance. Meeting called to order at 6:45 with catching crappie on Steves new case plastics the first order of business.

Same program as usual, we dropped the trolling motor in the narrows and long lined 1/16 oz jig heads with an assortment of plastics; Case, Charlie Brewer and Big Bite, hot colors today were JT jewel, red/chartreuse, white/chartreise, brown glitter, really anything that we dropped in front of them, they ate. Water temp has cooled a bit to mid 70's and the fish are still in the east basin. Caught 60-80 and kept around 15 or so. Wind was a little tricky at times and we got rained on twice but still had a great day on the water.
Fish weren't real big but still fun to catch and release.
