Where in ky? Congrats.
Its awfully quiet in here today, must be every one is :fish.
REPORTS, we need REPORTS...........Just make one up if you have to..........
So yesterday I was doing some prep work for fishing.........
I spooled up my Salmon Reels with new Backing, then my Braid Line, and then attempted to calibrate.
Long story short, I am over spooled right now 127 Line counter feet = 150 actual feet, BUT I could not bring myself to cut down the new Sufix Coastal Camo braid.
Yeah, I added 300 Yards, and Yes Salmon cant count but they sure can go a long ASH ways towards Wisconsin. I would prefer all 300 Yards. :)
Except when Steve is with me, then I prefer a Puke Bag, a toilet seat, and some depends. (Yeah, I saw you said I wasn't potty trained....... ):Rofl
If I am bored tonight, I might strip one reel very carefully, and then reverse spool one of the others onto it, and then calibrate backwards to remove the extra backing, & calibrate to 300 feet for my Divers.
I can measure how much I cut off, then cut off the extra backing off the others, and the carefully spooled line, and reel back onto the last reel.
Rich, That pile of stuff, add that line to it, I could use those for my Walleye Reels, just separate from the Moped parts...... :)
I can use those and calibrate anywhere from 150 to 200 foot, and use those for Walleye, instead of my Salmon Reels.

Hey Arron , are you calibrating to 100'. If so, when you walk off the 100' you have 127 on counter, that means you need to add line

150 feet.
127 Line counter feet = 150 actual feet, or line counter read 127 @ 150 feet, which mean I am over spooled.
I have 150 foot measured out to the inch in the yard. I am going to check 300 foot accuracy tonight, see how close I am. I think I will be off, but I do not know how much.
Some settings for my divers are 300 Foot.
Hardest part is avoiding the dang "St Bernard Apples" the kids dog left in the yard like poop mines.
