I had a Tracker boat before the one (Alumacraft) I have now, I knew it was a low end boat.....but for just installing 8 (as it ended up 14) squares of vinyl siding it was a great deal for me. Going to the Novi boat show a few weeks back I was a bit curious what the new Tracker boats would look like knowing they were under new leadership. I don't know if it just happened to be the boats they brought to this show ( which I doubt) but as we were approaching the side profile of the shiny new Tracker, the boat was waving to us......seriously both boats hulls were quite ripply or wavy......even my old low end 1994 Tracker had a nice smooth hull.
.......and good morning, I haven't started the coffee yet, needed to first turn the pellet/corn furnace on. It's like a regular wood furnace in that regard, then once it's going nothing to it. With the last couple days temperatures the house was at 75 degrees, so I let it go out for the night. Currently the house is at 64 degrees......little too cold for the Mrs.
Setting here this morning enjoying a cup of coffee and watching the Linder boys catch muskeys. I really like the way they explain the 123's of what they're doing.
Kind of the same here Jerry, except I'm watching "Into the Blue". They are catching Tuna, Mahi-Mahi and a sailfish. I watch Waypoint TV on this computer, makes it nice to watch show when it's convienient and you can watch years and episodes past. I know the Linders are on Waypoint cause I've watched them. Also Parsons and Kavajecz have a show "The Next Bite" on that channel.
3rd cup this morning & listening to Sunday morning sportstalk on the pc/radio. Much needed win for my Wildcats last night.
Speaking of college sports
MSU wins!
Jerry what did you make for lunch?
I had the broth from when I cooked the smoked pork neckbones, added turkey breast, mixed vegetables and cubed potatoes and thickened to make a stew. Then I made a batch of biscuits in the cast iron skillet. Couple biscuits in the bowl and cover with stew. Good eatin'.
Started putting equipment back in the boat. Life vests, anchors, marker buoys, pee jug, etc. I have some more bases for my driftmaster rod holders coming tomorrow that will be installed this week. Also started going through some of my rods and reels to figure out what I'm taking south with me.
I made a rod tube out of a piece of 4" drain field pipe. I cut it about 5'6" long and cut the belled end about 12" long. Cap the ends and slide the belled end over the straight piece. I can get about 8 rods up to 12'( 6' broke down) in it. Another red neck invention.
That sounds better than “poop on a Shingle”
When I was a kid, my mom would put what ever broth over what ever meat, thicken it up, and put it over Mashed Potatoes.
Yours sounds way better though
