OE, I just googled big hole in boat and that image came up, I'd guess it's a hard top for a boat that they are mounting a tower on....but just a guess.
No one needs to help me, I'll do it. I need to run in to Lansing today so while I'm out I'll pick up some 5200 and a couple stainless steel screws.
While you're in Lansing you should swing by Market Fresh grocery store on MLK and Jolly. They have some good deals on meat this week. T-bone or porterhouse for 2.99 a pound, spare ribs for .99 a pound, smoked pork neck bones .99 a pound cases of water .99.

I treat it like a new truck.
I buy one, drive it down the road, find a two track with brush on both sides and drive a couple of miles. Usually like to throw a couple bowling balls and bricks in the bed. When I come out the other end I no longer have to worry about scratches, dings or dents.
Same with a boat, drive it home and drill a hole in it as soon as you get there!
