Not real difficult. I bought an Eskimo 6" at a garage sale for a couple of dollars, added new blades for around 30.00. The handle is made to be removed so I matched the handle size to electrical conduit, welded a solid rod in one end of the conduit and ground a hex on the rod with my grinder. I had to drill a hole in the conduit so the retainer bolt would go through it to hold it to the auger. To keep it from dropping down the hole if it comes out of the drill, I cut a 8" circle out of the top of a drywall compound bucket, drilled a hole the same size as the auger shaft and cut a slit from the edge to the hole so I could fit it around the shaft of the auger below the retainer bolt. I have a Ridgid 18v 4ah brushless drill for turning it. The reason I went with Ridgid is they have a life time free batteries on their cordless tools. After I finish my spaghetti I'll take a picture. I will take the factory handle along in case I run out of battery and have a gas auger for those days when I need 400 holes.Quote:

I take a few buddies and "hopefully " we take turns. Like to drill them all at one time in an area so I don't bother the fish
