Bag is packed, tickets in hand.
Soon I'll be in "Big" fish land!
Back around Valentine's Day my wife told me she had gotten round trip tickets for me to fly down and spend 5 days with my old high school friend fishing on his offshore boat.
Motion sickness patch packed just in case.....
I'll post pics on this thread while I'm on my trip, hopefully crossing fish off my bucket list.
Stay tuned......

Day One:
I arrived at West Palm Beach around 11:30, my friend Floyd picked me up at the airport. Headed back to his house and got the boat loaded up for tomorrow morning's trip.
Thought I'd share pics of his boat, hey Jerry check out the bikini top on this boat.
You know you're fishing with someone serious when you see his wallpaper on his garage, as well as his assortment of fishing rods/reels.
On the water tomorrow......woohoo!

Day 2
First order of business was to catch bait, we caught sardines, blue runners and goggle eyes then headed out for the big fish.
First fish I caught was a black fin tuna. A little later a Bonita which was thrown back since they aren't good to eat.
We put out a sardine chum line, baited up the hooks with the sardines we just caught and it wasn't long I had a sailfish on, released it.....and bang! Another sailfish! Floyd has them both on video, the catch and release, however I don't know if I can download it here.?.
We then moved , put on goggle eyes to try to catch some king mackerel. We put 3 in the boat and 2 were caught at the same time! Floyd had been telling every time the reels started screaming that it is up to me to catch the fish (Rich does this too) but when we had a double on Floyd was forced to land one of them.
Off the ocean by 2:00.....going at it tomorrow, hope to catch some mahi-mahi.

Sounds like you're having a blast. I'm thinking you will be eating fresh fish for dinner tonight.
Steve is having a issue uploading picture right now through the CC App, but I got these via text earlier.
I have no idea what they are, but I'm sure one of them has to taste good.
