I had a guy stop over Saturday to look at an old mini van I have, he wants to make a derby car out of it. I told him the battery was shot and I would get the jumper cables. He pulls this power pack out of his pocket that was about the size of a VCR tape and tells me not to bother. I'll be danged, that thing started the van within 2 minutes of attaching it to the battery. He said he bought it at Home Depot for around $50.00. I've never would have believed something that small would pack that much power. Anybody seem these things in action?

Similar. I didn't see the name brand on his but did find one made by Armour All on Home Depot web site for just under 70.00. Says it can start up to a 5 liter V-8 engine. Needless to say, I was very impressed.
Technology in power storage has come a looking way!
