Making Ice!!!!
Jerry start making those outing plans!
If I could do it now, I'd stay the winter here. 4 more years to go,...... maybe......
I’m so far away, at least 6 Year’s, but I don’t mind being a Hermit during the winter.

How did your inland fishing trip go, Steve?
Jerry go up to the main crappie forum and look for my post titled “You never have enough fishing friends” and you can read about it

Never thought to look there. Good post and I'm glad you got to meet a fellow member and put a few in the boat.
Last two days she never got out of the teens. Unfortunately, a little snow cover blankets the ice and insulates it. This winter storm warning/clipper system won't help matters. Then another on Friday.
Saturday is calling for a winter mix which will suck for the ice! I hate this time of year. Too cold for soft water, too warm for hard water. Transition time. I guess I'll charger the flashers.
Since I no longer own a jig business, I am now free to ice fish the state of Michigan again. Brian reminded me the other day that the year prior to building the business I ice fished three to four days per week!
Glad you got free time this winter Rich, we still need to get out at least once.
Sitting at the airport waiting to board knowing this is the last green grass, blue skies and warm I’m going to see for a while.

Where you flying in to? Be advised that the storm just started and they are calling for up to six inches between 7am and 11am. It just started snowing in Lansing around 8:30 and the non drivers are out in droves.
Mom and Dad are in Florida as we speak with some family friends. Headed over to the Cape yesterday to watch the Nasa launch but it was postponed until today so they are headed back over there. They are headed down again in Late January.
No worries on the ice trips. We will make plenty. I'll keep the gear in my truck and head out from work. I've finished with the monumental tasks that were assigned to me and now it is screw off time.
Maybe you can come out and spend a day in the Cabin before season is over? Half the deer I've seen have names by now!
Fly into DETROIT and connect to GR Ford. Arrives at 5:02 in Case y’all want to have a greeting party!
