2017 "Shots From The Hip"

No Micky mouse ears, spent week in South Florida . A couple days hanging out on fishing piers...i never caught much but bait myself, but watched them catch shark, mackerel? and other toothy critters. The damage In the keys is still rough from the hurricane. Even after a month it's still a mess in places....Got back in early Sunday morning admitted wife Tuesday to the hospital for appendicitis...got her home recovering now.

Glad you're home Jeff, looks like a guy can pick up a yacht at bargain prices down there.......looks like a boat Superman and I saw up on the rocks in Muskegon harbor a few months back. Hope you can get away and go fishing to a secret lake this upcoming week.

Jerry, where did you find that picture of OE out ice fishing? All that earwear on his hat/s covering up his ears, it's no wonder he can't hear two guys telling him to NOT throw them keys. Wonder what that tag is he's got around his neck, perhaps a "if found please feed and return to the daily planet"?

Think he looks sad cause he dropped the you know whats in that hole?

So, what's everyones plans for the upcoming weekend?

As for mine, Aiden's football season is over so no football.
Oldest son is up at the Pellston Airport working so no waterfowl hunting.
Youngest son works crazy hours so no hanging out with him.
Wife is burnt out of Cabela's/Bass Pro/ etc. so no fun there.

My weekend sounds like a Country song.......

I'm NOT working this weekend. Spartans are playing Penn State at noon and I'm expecting them to get killed but will watch any way. Think I'll do a beef roast and fixings for the game them maybe nap a little. Might take a run up to Beats-a-Tent and do a wellness check on Sunday. Gonna rain so fishing is out.

I hope he has on his SPF 245. You know how the snow can throw off the rays. His kryptonite for sure. That and Jerkey.
