Had Carols family over to the tune of about 28 yesterday for a cookout. Took her sisters two boys, Wyatt and Stark, over to Pigeon Lake for a few hours. This has never been a very productive lake, but it is "no wake" and on this weekend I figured it might be a good place to take an 11 and 8 yr. old.
Wyatt, the 11 yr. old hooked a hammer handle pike, and this pretty crappie. The pike got off a the boat, and we released the crappie. It was his first. Poor Stark struck out. I never wet a line. First mate Rachel (daughter) caught a couple small is too.

Unapplied biblical truth is like unapplied paint...how many gallons do you have sittin' around? U.D.
